I manage content on multiple WordPress sites and there are a set of Rank Math features I’ve come to rely on nearly daily. I chose Rank Math several years ago because it is easy to use and gives me the information I need when I need it.
Analytics Stats Bar
The Analytics Stats Bar is a Rank Math feature I rely on for immediate feedback without navigating away from the page I am currently viewing. It adds a quick-access menu to the WordPress admin bar that shows a snapshot of performance metrics. I frequently use the Post Analytics shortcut while viewing a specific article to see its individual performance. This shortcut allows me to quickly jump into the data for that specific piece of content; showing me the keywords it ranks for and its recent traffic trends.

If you are already using Rank Math, check in the KB for how to enable the Analytics Stats Bar.
Index Status
The Index Status tab is a critical health check that uses Google’s URL Inspection API to show the real-time indexing state of my pages. It tells me exactly which pages are successfully indexed and which ones are excluded or facing technical issues.

You’ll see this represented on the detailed page, but this quick look shows you how Google sees the page. It confirms whether the URL is on Google, if it is mobile friendly, and the date it was last crawled. Seeing a green checkmark next to the indexing status gives me peace of mind that my latest updates are actually visible to my audience.
the Index status is one of those underutilized Rank Math features that provides huge value.

Post Analytics Shortcut
I love shortcuts. I love to remove steps from work that I do all the time and sometimes multiple times per day. You can easily search for a page in the Rank Math SEO dashboard, but I find it much easier to be on the page and click the link to quickly go to the post analytics.
Single Page Metrics at a Glance
Within the analytics view, I look at three specific metrics to judge the health of my content and think about what else I should be doing to promote or write new content.
Trend
This visual graph shows the movement of my impressions and clicks over time. I use it to spot seasonal dips or sudden spikes in interest. I believe this data is coming from Google Trends. This just tells me whether the keyword or phrase that we used continues to be relevant.

Traffic
The traffic metric shows the actual number of clicks my posts receive. It helps me understand which topics are resonating most with my readers this month.

Ranking Keywords
This section lists the specific terms people use to find my site. I often find new content ideas here by seeing related terms that I have not yet covered in depth.

SEO Performance Tab
While the single page metrics are good, especially when I’ve recently written a new SEO-friendly article. But I’ve written a lot of articles and I’m always eager to see what is changing.
The SEO Performance tab gives me a birds-eye view of how my overall content strategy is working. I skip the top winning posts and go straight to the content list. I can get much of this information from Google Search, but I love that I am on the page and I can get it here. There are no queries or separate systems needed; it just provides the answers I need.
I can see the performance data for each piece of content and see which have climbed in position recently. An article that jumped might indicate that I should add more content related to this topic or that I need to make sure the page has a good lead magnet.
The SEO Performance tab helps me identify high-scoring posts that are not getting traffic; or low-scoring posts that are surprisingly popular; so I can prioritize where to spend my time for the best results.
Keywords Tab
I can also go one step broader and look at keywords across the entire site. The Keywords tab shows the position of my top keywords and how those positions have changed. If a keyword drops from the top three spots to the bottom of the first page, I know it is time to refresh that specific article with updated information.
Summary of Rank Math Features
You probably already have picked up on the combination of Rank Math features that are important to me. I’m always looking for quick ways to monitor what is happening on my site. I have a range of SEO tools that I use to monitor, but these are quick and easy to use for me and my team.
Each of these Rank Math features can be used quickly and easily to maintain your WordPress SEO.
